TOYOTA RAV 4 is a compact and stylish SUV with on-road and off-road capabilities for a fulfilling driving experience. Its manufacturer is the Japanese automaker Toyota Corporation.
It debuted in April 1994 having under the hood a 2.0 L petrol engine with 119hp and 121ps. In 2016, Toyota Corporation ceased its production until April 2019.
The manufacturer has done an overhaul on this Rav 4 and comes with a new shape that simulates a car of the future. Not only are the aesthetics changed, under the hood, the new Toyota Rav 4 comes equipped with a capable 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engine and a 2.5L hybrid engine.
Other notable changes are the all new World class 4WD system. This is the ‘Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD’. This ensures that the torque on rear wheel is controlled independently. The AWD system disengages 4WD when not needed saving on fuel.
In its fifth generation, the Rav 4 has progressively received improvements making it King of off-road among its competitors.
