The 2024 Porsche Cayenne is the SUV that thinks it is a 911. First launched in 2002, it arguably saved Porsche from bankruptcy. • Curved Display: The analogue tachometer is gone, replaced by a 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster. A 10.9-inch passenger display is optional for video streaming.
• Dash Gear Selector: The gear lever has moved from the center console to the dashboard (like the Taycan), freeing up space for storage and climate controls.

• Consumption: 8–10 km/l (Base V6). The V8 "S" will do 6-7 km/l. It demands premium unleaded.
• Service: Porsche Centre Nairobi rates apply. Parts are expensive, especially the Matrix LED headlights and active suspension components. However, mechanical reliability is generally higher than Range Rover.
• Tyres: Staggered fitment (wider at the rear). A set of N-rated Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres will cost over Ksh 300,000.

PASM Standard: Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is now standard on all models. The air suspension (optional on base, standard on higher trims) uses new 2-chamber, 2-valve technology to separate compression and rebound, making it softer over bumps and firmer in corners.

5-Star Euro NCAP rating. The 2024 model features improved Matrix LED headlights as standard. Porsche consistently ranks high in long-term dependability studies.
