The 2024 Audi Q7 (4M) is the "Quiet Titan" of the luxury SUV world. While the X5 focuses on sportiness and the GLE on glitz, the Q7 focuses on supreme refinement and space. This is the 2nd Generation (launched 2015), but the 2024 model represents its second major facelift, featuring a new octagon grille, HD Matrix LED laser headlights, and upgraded infotainment. It remains one of the few luxury SUVs that can genuinely seat 7 adults in comfort.

Audi's 3.0L V6 engines are the standard here:

• Q7 45 TDI / 50 TDI (3.0L Diesel): 231 HP / 286 HP. RECOMMENDED The 50 TDI is the pick. With 600 Nm of torque, it moves this 2.2-tonne beast effortlessly and delivers decent economy (11-13 km/l).
• Q7 55 TFSI (3.0L Petrol): 340 HP. A mild-hybrid petrol V6. Silent, smooth, and fast, but thirsty (8-9 km/l).

• Triple Screen: The dashboard features three screens: Virtual Cockpit, upper infotainment, and lower climate control. It looks high-tech but requires wiping fingerprints daily.
• 7-Seat Comfort: The 3rd row is electrically folding. Unlike the X5, adults can actually fit in the back for short trips. All 5 rear seats have Isofix points.

• Consumption: 12 km/l (50 TDI). Excellent for its size.
• Service: Audi parts are premium. The complex air suspension and electronics require a specialist mechanic. Quattro system fluids must be changed on schedule.
• AdBlue: Diesel models require AdBlue. The tank is easy to fill next to the diesel cap.

Quattro + Air: The adaptive air suspension is standard on most trims. It can raise the car for light off-roading and lower it for loading luggage. The Quattro system provides immense traction on wet/muddy roads, though the long wheelbase limits extreme off-roading.
