The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLA (C118 Facelift) proves that you don't need an S-Class to turn heads. Updated in late 2023, this facelifted model sharpens the "Baby CLS" look with a new star-pattern grille, modernized LED graphics, and a cleaner interior that finally ditches the clunky trackpad. It remains the most stylish entry-point into the Mercedes brand, prioritizing coupe-like aesthetics over the boxy practicality of the A-Class Sedan.

The 2024 model adds mild-hybrid tech to the petrol lineup:

• CLA 180 / 200 (1.3L Turbo): 136 HP / 163 HP. STANDARD The M282 engine now features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. This "EQ Boost" adds 13 HP for smoother start-stop operation and coasting. It is surprisingly punchy for a 1.3L.
• CLA 250 (2.0L Turbo): 224 HP. For those who want GTI-level performance. Comes with 4MATIC AWD as standard in most markets.
• CLA 200d / 220d (2.0L Diesel): 150 HP / 190 HP. The mileage kings. The OM654q engine is ultra-clean and torquey, ideal for highway commuters.

• No More Trackpad: The center console now features a practical storage tray instead of the frustrating trackpad. All controls are now via the touchscreen or the capacitive steering wheel buttons.
