The 2024 Lexus RZ 450e is a historic milestone: it is the first dedicated Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) from Lexus. Launched in 2023, it shares the e-TNGA platform with the Toyota bZ4X but adds the Lexus "Driving Signature." It features DIRECT4 all-wheel drive and the optional One Motion Grip (steer-by-wire yoke). 200mm Clearance: Surprisingly high for an EV sedan/crossover mix. It handles speed bumps well. The suspension uses frequency-reactive dampers to smooth out high-frequency vibrations from rough tarmac.

Standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. The e-Latch door system prevents you from opening the door if a cyclist is approaching from behind (Safe Exit Assist). Toyota/Lexus battery tech is considered the most conservative and reliable in the industry.
