It is powered by a lively 1.5L Turbo Petrol engine (152 HP). It has plenty of low-end torque, making it feel faster than a 2.0L RAV4. Fuel economy is decent at 11-13 km/l, though the turbo encourages spirited driving which can use more fuel.
