  303 HP / 363 Nm. This is the same engine found in the Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is reliable, parts are available, and it runs on standard unleaded. It sends power to the rear wheels (or AWD on GT trims) via an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic.
• 5.7L HEMI V8 (R/T)
  375 HP. The entry-level V8. Great sound, poor economy (5 km/l).

• Class Leading Space: This is the only coupe where you can fit three adults in the back seat for a short trip without them hating you. It is huge inside.
• The Boot: 458 Litres. That is bigger than a Mazda CX-5 boot! You can fit four golf bags. It is a genuine grand tourer.

Features the Uconnect 4C with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. It includes "Performance Pages" which display 0-100 times, G-forces, and engine gauges. The interface is arguably the most user-friendly in the industry.

• Consumption: 8–10 km/l (V6). On the highway, the 8-speed gearbox keeps RPMs low, making it surprisingly efficient for a heavy car.
• Service: The Pentastar V6 is ubiquitous. Filters and plugs are cheap. Body panels are the issue—bump a fender, and you are shipping parts from the USA.

• Size: It is 1.9 meters wide. Navigating narrow streets in Eastleigh or Parklands is stressful. It feels like driving a boat.
• Ride: Surprisingly soft. It absorbs bumps better than the Mustang or Camaro. It is built for cruising, not cornering.

It is an old platform (dating back to 2008), so crash test scores are average. However, the drivetrain is proven and reliable.
